Just a reminder that the deadline for the Senate letter for CSFP funding is today, Friday, March 28th. Please contact your Senators and ask them to sign on to this important letter of support for CSFP.  Great job on getting support for CSFP on the House letter!  We ended up with 131 Signatures (30.2%)!   Wouldn’t it be great to get at least 30% of the Senators and the Governors signing on to the letters now circulating?  Please take a few minutes to send a thank you to those members who supported us and signed the CSFP FY09 House appropriations letter.

 Please download the (pdf) documents below in support of CSFP funding in FY09 for the Senate, which is sponsored by Senator Pete Domenici and Senator Debbie Stabenow, and a Governor's letter sponsored by Governor Bill Richardson. Please contact your Senators and your Governor ASAP, and ask them to sign their respective letters for CSFP.   The deadline for all signatures is March 28.

Click here for the House of Representatives sign-on letter in support of our full legislative agenda .  Representative Sander Levin from Michigan is taking the lead in getting signatures for $175 million in FY09 for our program. Please contact your Representatives and ask them to add their names to this letter. The deadline is March 7.   These types of sign-on letters are very important and do make a difference. Also make sure that you ask your Representatives and Senators to include CSFP in their personal budget requests to the Appropriations Committees.  More advocacy info.
